description=Ten months before World War II broke out in the Pacific in 1941, Philippine Airlines' Beech Model 18 aircraft stretched its wings and flew to the skies and thus began Philippine Airlines' endless journey through Philippine history. Today, Philippine Airlines has a fleet of young and state-of-the-art wide-body jets composed of Airbus 340-300s and Boeing 747-400s. Daily services include routes from Manila to San Francisco, Los Angeles, HongKong, Tokyo and Singapore. Visit the Philippines with PAL! For more information, go to www.philippineair.com. Notes:
1. B747_400_t.bmp repainted from Mark Kiszkiel's (mkiszkiel@nyc.rr.com) B747-400 Air France repaint (with permission).
2. I used the POSKY 747-400 PAL and pictures from airliners.net as my references for the repaint.
3. This doesn't look exactly like the real thing because of the limitations of the default FS2k2 model. (Philippines logo--should be moved back a little, tail number--misplaced, boeing 747-400 logo near the door--right side is mirror image, Philippine Centennial logo--right side is mirror image)
4. For FREE distribution only
5. If you're going to repaint or modify my file, no need to ask for permission, but let me know if you're going to upload (I might want to d/l your plane).
6. I think the Philippines logo and the tail number can be moved with gmax, i'll try to figure it out. Can someone please help on how to turn .mdl files into .gmax files? Thanks
7. Visit http://www.philippineair.com/mn_flightsked.htm for actual flight schedules.
