David Trueblood (from '66-'70) would have grad....'71 [email protected] Looking to reconnect with FSH friends from my years ('66 - '70). 05/06 dennis lutz 1978 [email protected] anybody know where i can get a yearbook for 1975 or 76, lost mine in the many moves since naples , ...please help thanks , dennis "74-76"fshs 05/06 Paul Le Bleu 1978 [email protected] "don't ask for pepperoni" . Steve, in Southern Italy, Pepperoni is a dish with lightly cooked green, yellow, and red long peppers bathed in olive oil and spices. Ample amounts of Mozzarella accompanied the dish. A nice bottle of red wine went well with it. This is a mid day treat. It's actually quite good! I had the pleasure of having Pepperoni served to me by a close Italian family friend when I was in Naples in '97. Asking for a Pepperoni Pizza will raise an eye brow in Napoli, but I do know of a place near Villaga Copola off of the Domiziana that makes several types of Pizzas. Even a special requested Pepperoni Pizza could be a posibility! 05/06 rob blythe 1976 [email protected] Happy Memorial Day to each and every one of you. Please remember all our fallen comrades that have paid the ultimate price so we can all enjoy the everyday freedoms we may sometimes take for granted. 05/06 Scott White 1976 [email protected] Hi Dan and fellow Wildcats! I wanted to say that I just got back from attending Ray Lee's 23rd annual Mother's Day Celebration and Pig Roast in beautiful Virginia. The day was perfect and the weather was warm and sunny. There were probably over 25 Wildcats in attendance plus over 150 of Ray and Cindy's friends, relatives and fellow co-workers. The food was absolutely fantasic! The bands were excellent and the music and pork cooked all day and late into the night. Wildcats came from as far away as Ireland. Spider Man even dropped in for a surprise visit, rescuing lovely Gina from an evil sex-mongering Wildcat biker dude (thanks for being such a good sport Rich!) Neel Price 1974 [email protected] Hi everyone. I'm still living in Keller, TX (Fort Worth), married over 20 years to Kathie (who I met during a ten year stay in Montana) and have 3 kids...2 boys & 1 girl ages 20, 16 and 14. I'm still playing music after all these years, beer not involved (hi Steve Lapping!). I even have my son playing drums for my band "So Far". It's been a long time since I played in the teen club with Scott White, Karl Wilhelmi and Ricky Baker. Things change, though...you can check my old (50) self out at www.so-far.com. Hey...I might have gray hair, but as least I still have hair! I can't believe it about Audrey and Kent...who woulda thunk it? Does anyone have an email for Mike or Karl? See ya! 05/06 Valentina [email protected] CIAO a tutti!! What a wonderful surprise bout your school!!! Tawnya Michie Kumarakulasingam 1983 [email protected] Steve Abel '78, you're right about pepperoni. In Italian, pepperoni is not a meat, it's a pepper. Bobby R Stacy Jr 1986, I remember Mr. Gordon Von Harter. He was a hoot! I remember that he used to make a big deal about the abbreviation pg as meaning pregnant rather than page.philip henry 1971, thank-you for the memories from your recent trip. Did you take any photos of the old high school on Via Manzoni? If you do have photos, can you post them and send one to the American Overseas Schools Historical Society Archives in Wichita, Kansas? I can send a copy to them if you send me a scanned version. It's like the end of an era from our memory banks when the school is torn down... What was the history of the building besides our high school? Does anyone know what it was after the school community moved out in 1982? 05/06 Dave Wrede 1975 [email protected] Hi everyone. We're going to be a grandparents! My new daughter-in-law (they got married in September) is expecting our first grandchild in June. She's living in our home while our son is deployed to Afghanistan for a year. He'll be back next March or so. Everyone have a nice summer and wish me luck on my first grandchild! Bobby R Stacy Jr 1986 [email protected] Where is Mr. Gordon V. Harter? I have a few words for that man. 05/06 Kris Romans 81 [email protected] Hey Wildcats!!!! This is Kris Romans.... Password for my site is "babaloo" Website is www.krisromans.com 2 sections for wildcats of before(79/83) and TODAY!!! Leave a message in the guestbook!! Enjoy! Kris 05/06 philip henry 1971 [email protected] Just spent a week in Naples. They are tearing down the old high school on Via Manzoni. So sad. AFSOUTH has changed some. The old Teen Club is some printing office now. The outdoor theater is overgrown with weeds. Building L has fewer shops. The O-Club pool is empty. Edenlandida is still there. We all had some good times...didn't we? Mount V still looms in the background. 05/06 Steve Abel 1978 [email protected] So there's a new pizza restaurant in Las Vegas called Settobello Napolitano (sp?). They claim to be one of only five restaurants in the U.S. which is sanctioned by someone in Italy (Napoli) and that they make the pizza exactly like in Naples. Leanne and I went there with my parents last week and tried it. It was really excellant!!! Here's the question... in their advertising they say "don't ask for pepperoni". On the menu they have "salame". After I thought about it for awhile it started coming back to me. Is that right? Hope all are well! Steve 05/06 |
