I am new to this whole computer world and get a little nervous when I see that V word. 8/99 Hi, I'm Dan Zebarth, a graduate elsewhere in 1987, but a student at NAHS from 8-10 grades. I'm looking for anyone who knew me (I have red hair if that helps) and Elisha Davis in 9th grade basic science. She had long dark brown hair and a kind of freckly skin. Donald, who often played with the chemicals, and I were lab partners, but I sat across from Elisha at the table. I will never forget her. Everyone else knew how much I cared for her, but I always denied it because many classmates were making fun of us and I couldn't handle it. I was out sick the week after she moved. My thanks to Donald. Noisy and destructive as you were in class, your words comforted me through my missing her. Elisha, if you're out there, please write. I hope you're okay and enjoying life. On a brighter note, some of you might remember me from our marching band days. I played the kettle drum and many of the other sound-makers in class, while the others took over the snare drums and the trap set. I miss spontaneously playing a song before we were all even seated. Do you remember violating regulations by going up the hill to the hospital in support of our teacher Don Knotts and playing for him while he was there with a bad back? It was wonderful, and my heart feels better having seen some of the dearest friends from my past. We had about 70 people there but I know we can do better! To the FSHers that I met for the first time, it was terrific!
