COMMENTS FROM THE THIRD VICE PRESIDENT

 

Excitement!  Ralph Condon, from the Bradenton Horseshoe Club, has gotten a donation of a vacation getaway for two adults a 7 night Cruise aboard your choice of over 20 modern luxury cruise ships to exciting ports of call in US, Mexico, and the Caribbean.  You may choose from selected sailings on ships departing from Miami, FL; Tampa, FL; Puerto Rico or Los Angeles, CA.  Passengers must be 21 years of age or older.  This offer is for the cruise only.  The Cruise is for first prize in the drawing to be donated to the Florida Junior Horseshoe Pitching Scholarship Fund.  The tickets are $10 each.  The drawing will be held at the State Championship Horseshoe Pitching Awards Banquet in Clearwater on April 26, 2008 winner need not be present.  Boyd Stonerock has agreed to pay for the tickets in exchange for his advertising on the back of the tickets. 

 

Ralph has also gotten a donation of a second prize; round-trip airfare and hotel accommodations for two adults for three days and two nights at any one of these five fabulous resort destination; Las Vegas, Nevada; Cancun, Mexico; Orlando, Florida; San Francisco, California; and New Orleans, Louisiana, adults only.  You can make the airfare be a week by extending the return date, but you will have to pay for the extra hotel accommodations that are over the two nights. 

 

Ralph was very busy and also got 4 pairs of horseshoes donated by White Dist.  You can choose any style horseshoe that White Dist. makes.  So that makes 6 fabulous prizes that you have a chance to win for a donation of just $10 with all the money going to the Florida Junior Horseshoe Pitching Scholarship Fund.  A Special Thanks to Ralph Condon for getting all these marvelous prizes, so we can donate to the Florida Junior Horseshoe Pitching Scholarship Fund. 

 

The tickets will go on sale starting March 1, 2008.  Dell Woollard will be in charge of selling the tickets and the money.  I am the Junior Director on the FSHPA Executive Council, and I am also on the Board of Directors for the Florida Junior Horseshoe Pitching Scholarship Fund.  

 

You can get tickets from me at any horseshoe tournament that I am attending and at the State Championship Horseshoe Pitching Tournament in Clearwater in April.  Also you can ask me for some tickets to sell, and I will keep track of the numbers you have, then you will have to give me the money or the tickets back by the State Tournament in Clearwater no later than Friday, April 25, 2008 the day before the drawing at the Awards Banquet.  You can sell the tickets to family and friends.  They do not have to be horseshoe pitchers to win.  This way we can make more money for the Florida Junior Horseshoe Pitching Scholarship Fund.
