COMMENTS FROM THE EDITOR
Two
prestigious annual awards require nominations from the membership. If you know of a member that meets the
qualifications listed below and you want to nominate a member for one of these
awards please do so by March 1, 2008. Nominations for Outstanding Member should be
in writing to the President of the Association.
Nominations for Hall Of Fame should be made in writing to the Chairman
of the Hall Of Fame Committee. The
President and Chairman’s addresses are noted on the back of the front page of
this newsletter.
The
cost of publishing this newsletter is increasing each year. Postal regulation changes this year will most
likely cause one of two things to happen; 1. The newsletter may have to be
published in smaller print to conserve pages., or 2. Some
items appealing to a small group of our members may have to be left out. The tournament results that normally require
one to two double sided pages to print may have to be reformatted or left
out. I have asked the Executive Council
to consider this option.
You
as a member can help to hold down the cost of publishing the newsletter if you
have a computer by asking for delivery of the newsletter through the
