Background:

At the age of 28, some are surprised to find that Leandra, preferably called Lee (except to those she's not overly fond of) has already achieved the position of Chief  Intelligence Officer.  However, after seeing her in action, any doubts are normally put to rest.  She'd started her career in Security, and early on been hand picked to join Intelligence.  She possesses and extremely keen mind, and the uncanny ability to view things more clearly than most-getting to the 'heart' of the matter almost immediately.  These talents have served her well, and gotten the notice of her superiors, who quickly promoted her to a position where her skills would be most beneficial to the UEO.

Although a private person, she is able to put others rapidly at ease--when she wants.  Often, people can spend long periods of time with her, revealing much about themselves, and at the same time not feeling much closer to her.  Which suits her just fine.

An exception to this is her long-standing friendship with Skylar Murphy.  The two somehow managed to form a close bond many years ago and they indulge a shared passion for physical activity together.  Despite being very similar, they are complete opposites in the looks department.

Unable to tolerate stupidity or people who 'beat around the bush', she can sometimes be abrupt when stating her opinion, though this is a personality trait she is determined to work on; as is her habit of making sarcastic observations, although most find her comments amusing.

She is excited about this new assignment, meeting a new crew, and also working with Skylar; yet her excitement is tempered with some apprehension as this is her first assignment following her promotion.
