"Hello all! I am Ben Alberti, Faculty Advisor to Women's Empowerment. I have just been invited on board, but I am excited to be a "part" (however peripherally!) of the club. My Mum made me wash dishes when I was a kid, and I've been an ardent pro-feminist ever since. I teach anthropology and archaeology in the Sociology Department, and have been here since Fall 2004. I both teach about gender and research it (when I have time!), focusing on applying feminist theory to re-interpretation of artwork in Crete and Argentina. I've from the UK, but currently reside in our very own Framingham. My office is Crocker 202 -- stop by!" |
