About Us:
Women should be tough, tender, laugh as much as possible, and live long lives.  The struggle for equality continues unabated, and the woman warrior who is armed with wit and courage will be among the first to celebrate victory.

Purpose:
Women's Empowerment was founded in 2003 in effort to make a difference in our ever growing community. The purpose of the group is to increase awareness of women's issues, locally and globally, and also social issues in general. WE want to bring together the women and men of Framingham State College in a safe and comfortable setting to try to open up discussion about reproductive rights, women's health care, and many other issues the members of the club wish to address. The club promotes a diverse and accepting campus community that not only recognizes problems, but tries to right them whenever possible.
Membership:
Membership is open to all full/part-time fee paying undergraduate students of Framingham State College.
