Ilyushin Il-18D medium range turboprop airliner

The Il-18 played a major role in developing air services in Russia's remote regions and enjoyed one of the longest production runs of any turboprop airliner in the world. Developed originally in response to a 1950's requirement from Aeroflot, the Il-18 (NATO reporting name: "Coot") entered service in 1959 as a 75 passenger aircraft. Continuing developments increased the seating capacity as requirements grew. As they were replaced by more modern, jet-propelled aircraft, they were utilized as charters or retired all together by most operators.

The simulation is painted in Cesklslovenske Airlines livery and includes working flaps, lights, strobes and gear. It uses quite a bit of runway to take off, and landing should be at 120-125 knots or so to keep from developing too steep an angle (I don't know if this is realistic, but it's the way the simulation flies!) Put the .AIR file in your PILOTS subdirectory, the rest in your TEXTURE subdirectory and have Flight Shop installed.
