Antonov AN-72
-------------

This Soviet made STOL transport first flew in Dec. 1977. The turbo fans are set high and forward to direct the exhaust over large trailing edge flaps to make use of the 'Coanda effect' to provide a significant increase in lift. The engine placement also provides protection from debris on rough strips. The main cabin is pressurized and, although intended primarily for cargo, can seat 32 on fold down seats.

Performance:
	max. speed:	760 km/hr (472 mph)
	cruise speed:	720 km/hr (447 mph)
	ceiling:	11000 mtr
	range: 1000 km

Flying the Sim:
No tricks here. Take-off with full flaps and rotate at 100-110. Landing is slightly nose high and stable. You can adjust the elevator scalar to suit your taste (I have it a little high for ease of take-off and stall recovery).

Many thanks to Tim Hoeflich and Dick Allen for test flying and helping me work out the gremlins.

BTW:
This plane is freeware. You may share it as you see fit as long as you don't charge for it and I am credited as the author.
