In short, I was born on March 18, 1982 in Rockingham Memorial Hospital. I live in the Shenandoah Valley beside a picturesque view of the Shenandoah River. Most of my family lives close by in the surrounding towns. Contrary to the belief that little is important about this small area, it does have its finer qualities. I would not trade it for any other place to call my hometown. Like I said, I have lots of family in this area and that's one reason it's so special. Now, I live less than a mile from where I was born at James Madison University.
My charge now is to continue on to fulfill a duty of music education. It is to continue and contribute to a cause that is worth fighting for: the cause to help others grow in mind and spirit. Music has been especially influencial to me and has changed my life, and I only hope that I would be a able to do they same for others. To help others is a gratifying experience for me, and through music I hope to acheive just that.

This quote pretty much sums up how I like to look at things........ A wonderful realization will be the day you realize that you are unique in all the world. There is nothing that is an accident. You are a special combination for a purpose-and don't let them tell you otherwise, even if they tell you that purpose is an illusion. (Live an illusion if you have to). You are that combination so that you can do what is essential for you to do. Don't ever believe that you have nothing to contribute. The world is an incredible unfulfilled tapestry. And only you can fulfill that tiny space that is yours. ~ Leo Buscaglia ~
One of my favorite past-times.............
Life, in six words... Compassion -- to live compassionately on a broad scale Humility -- to realize my limits, boundaries, and the extent of my own judgment Reverence -- to hold in high esteem the value of others Inspiration -- to have a constant driving force that keeps me continually working toward my goal even in the event of oppression. Simplicity -- the most elaborate things in life are toiled over needlessly; and Truth -- simply stated, needs nothing more.
