INTRODUCTION
*************
The file Multiplayer.mis is used by CFS2 when you fly in MultiPlayer
mode. Simply Replacing the Multiplayer.mis file with another mission
and renaming it Multiplayer.mis will enable you to fly a mission in
MultiPlayer mode.
This program enables you to swap a mission into Multiplayer.mis for
use then restore the default multiplayer.mis when finished.

NOTE: ALL Participants will have to have the Mission or they will
not see anything different.

***************************************************************
MAKE SURE ALL PLAYERS SWAP TO THE APPROPRIATE MISSION BEFORE
LAUNCHING THE GAME OR BEFORE CLICKING ON NULTIPLAYER BUTTON FOR
AN IP GAME.
***************************************************************

This program simply makes the Mission file switching easier for
users.

INSTALL
*******
To install this program just double click on CFS2_Mswap_Setup.exe
and follow the on screen prompts.

THIS PROGRAM REQUIRES VISUAL BASIC VERSION 6 RUNTIME FILES NOT
INCLUDED IN THIS INSTALLATION. THEY CAN BE DOWNLOADED FROM
http://www.dyno-tech.com/Bravo under the downloads gauges section.

-----------------------------------------------------------------
!!!!!!DO NOT INSTALL THIS PROGRAM TO YOUR CFS2 DIRECTORY!!!!!!!!!
-----------------------------------------------------------------

USING THE PROGRAM
*****************
When installed, the Program will already have a backup copy
of your Multiplayer.mis file so all you need to do is select the
Mission you wish to use by clicking on it in the list box and
clicking on the Swap button.
If the List box does for some reason not display any mission,
click on the Browse button and navigate to the directory where
Missions are stored then click OK.
NOTE YOU ***MUST*** DOUBLE CLICK ON THE FOLDER TO OPEN IT !!
------------------------------------------------------------
*************************************************************
*************************************************************
*************************************************************
YOU MUST SWAP TO THE MISSION YOU WANT TO PLAY BEFORE YOU CLICK
ON THE MULTIPLAYER BUTTON FOR AN IP GAME AND BEFORE YOU LAUNCH
OR THE HOST LAUNCHES A GAME ON THE ZONE.
SWAPPING IN THE READY ROOM DOES NOTHING. IF YOU ARE IN THE
READY ROOM AND HAVE NOT SWAPPED, GO BACK OUT, SWAP AND REJOIN
THE GAME.

AGAIN WHEN YOU FINISH A MISSION, RETURNING TO THE READY ROOM
DOES NOT RESET THE MISSION. TO RESET YOU NEED TO SHUT DOWN THE
SESSION GO BACK AND THEN RELAUNCH THE GAME. WHAT THIS MEANS IS
THAT ALL OBJECTS DESTROYED WHEN YOU RETURN TO THE READY ROOM
WILL **STILL** BE DESTROYED WHEN YOU GO BACK IN.
*************************************************************
*************************************************************
*************************************************************

To replace your Multiplayer.mis file with the original after
finishing the mission, click on restore Default.
THIS IS IMPORTANT DON'T FORGET OR YOU MIGHT END UP IN A DOGFIGHT
AT INTERLAKEN AND HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT FLAK AS WELL AS OTHER PLAYERS

*************************************************************
USING CONFIGGA
***************
Again you must use this prior to launching a game, the same as
stated above for Multiplayer missions.
NOTE: That you need to SWAP before you use this IF YOU WANT IT TO
WORK WITH A MULTIPLAYER MISSION. It however can be used without a
mission.

NOTE: IF YOU USE CONFIGGA AND THEN CHANGE THE START POSITION
*** IN CFS2 *** YOU WILL LOSE THE ALTITUDE SETTINGS.

***********
 IMPORTANT
***********
AS CFS2 ALWAYS WANTS TO RESET THE COMBATFS.CFG FILE WITH ITS DEFAULT
SETTINGS, CONFIGGA SETS THIS FILE TO READONLY TO STOP CFS WRITING
TO THE FILE. WHEN FINISHED YOU *** MUST *** RESET TO CFS DEFAULT.

THIS WILL CAUSE SOME THINGS TO NOT WORK PROPERLY. FOR EXAMPLE:
IF YOU WANT TO DEACTIVATE YOUR FORCE FEEDBACK JOYSTICK WHILE IN
THE GAME IT WILL NOT BE DEACTIVATED. ONCE YOU HAVE RESET TO CFS
DEFAULT YOU CAN THEN MAKE THESE CHANGES.

MISSIONS
No missions are included in version 4.0 of Multiswap.

PROBLEMS
********
TARGETS
Each Player in the game has to individually destroy ALL mission targets.
For Example if one Ship exists in the Mission and SW_Mojo destroys
it, RAF_Nello will still see it and he will also have to destroy it.

It is interesting to note that even with this restriction, a Player
will still see flak going off around others players.

BOMBS AND ROCKETS
It is STILL not possible to fire rockets or drop bombs in Multiplayer
mode even with a new mission (AT THIS TIME).

ALLEGIANCE
All Objects will fire at ALL players in Multiplayer, so German Flak
Guns or Amoured Cars will fire at German Pilots and Tiger Tanks will
shoot other tiger tanks. Squadrons of Aircraft will also shoot
themselves down regardless of their Allegience.

RESTARTING MISSIONS
When the mission or Multiplayer session is finished, you may have to
restart the game completely or any target taken out will not reappear.

STRANGE MESSAGES
When another player is HIT by an object you will see the message...
YOU HIT XXX_SMITH (where XXX_SMITH) is the name of the player that
was hit. You did **not** in fact hit the other player but this is how
CFS Handles an AI object hitting a Player in multiplayer mode. This
does give you some feedback that onother player is taking a beating.

NOTE !!!!!
One of my greatest concerns is that people SHUT DOWN Multi-Swap/Configga
after they have changed the settings and before they launch the game.
In a LOT of cases people FORGET to restore the default Multiplayer.mis
and end up using a Mission when they do not really want one running.
I STRONGLY SUGGEST YOU LEAVE THE PROGRAM RUNNING SO THAT YOU REMEMBER
TO RESTORE DEFAULT IN MULTI-SWAP AND ALSO IN CONFIGGA.
