Ribbon Description
Joint Service Achievement Award - Awarded for participation in an official squadron match.
Good Conduct Medal - Awarded to pilots who are recommended by their commanding officers for exemplary behavior, efficiency, and fidelity.
Air Medal - Awarded to pilots who have achieved 100 enemy air kills in combat.  The ribbon will only be presented upon verification of MCR records by a superior officers.
Distinguished Service Medal - Awarded to pilots who distinguish themselves by exceptionally meritorious service to the squadron in a duty of great responsibility, in combat or otherwise.
Distinguished Flying Cross - Awarded to pilots who have distinguished themselves in combat by heroism or extraordinary achievement while participating in an aerial flight.
Meritorious Service Ribbon - Awarded for noncombat meritorious achievement or service that is incontestably exceptional.
Bronze Star - The bronze star represents second and subsequent entitlements of an award.
Silver Star - The silver star represents six entitlements of an award, or five bronze stars.
