Rharn is one of many Nocturians that have finally left
Noctura to go and explore the universe. However,
Rharn is the only one who ended up on Earth and
decided to join Starfleet as a way of passing
sometime.
S/he is not secretive but many people find her/him
intimidating with her/his vivid colouring. Also the
fact that her/his gender is neutral at the present
time also made it difficult for people to relate to
her/him.
Rharn, however, decided that s/he could roll over and
allow people to walk over her/him or just ignore it
and allow others to think of her/him as they would.
Rharns most difficult time was adjusting to the more
regulated *daytime* schedule of Starfleet as her/his
home planet is in perpetual twilight. S/he achieved
this eventually when s/he realised that s/he did not
need to take conventional rest like many of her/his
classmates and eventually her/his colleagues.
Rharns race is a clone race, and her DNA like that of
many of her/his siblings comes from several of the
surviving Nocturians following a devastating war on
her/his home planet. Her/his DNA is not the same as
the hatching from the previous generation nor will it
be the same as the generation after her/him as
Nocturian scientists realised that by mixing the DNA
of different generations enabled them to maintain a
strong and healthy species.
