FOUR RELAXATION PRINCIPLES DOING MIRACLES
Back to Main Page
Well, I'm afraid this isn't the real FRPDM meaning either...
1.  A GOOD DRINK
OK, so the symbol on the other page probably had you thinking of something more spiritual and healthy, but, I must admit, when it comes to de-stressing from a rough day at the office, few things make me happier than a vodka martini, dry as the Sahara desert, with an olive or two, or a margarita on the rocks, no salt..  I'm sure my doctor and my liver would prefer something different, but a man's gotta do what a man's gotta do.
2. NO LIMIT TEXAS HOLD 'EM
I got turned onto the game after playing a game at the office and winning.  Since then I've been a pretty consistent winner at the office games, with my 'poker fund' staying in the black for over a year and a half now.  I'm not so great at the other variations of the game, although I can play them if need be.  But a night of NLHE is a great way to unwind, especially among friends.

To the right is one of my chip sets; I know some people hate having the denominations on the chips, but I love the artwork.  We often use the $1 chips for $1000 for deep stack play.
3.  A GOOD WORKOUT
I don't have the room anymore for my full blown gym (on the right) so I use the powerblocks (on the left.)
These "intelli-bells" (vs dumb bells) fit into each other, so you can have an entire set of dumbells fit into an area the size of two large shoe boxes.
I do miss my hardcore days of serious weightlifting, and hopefully someday when we have our own home I can get back into it with a vengeance.
4.  HANGING WITH THE FAMILY
I will no doubt catch it for putting this fourth, but these aren't necessarily in the order of preference, and, to be honest, sometimes the family is the reason I need to relax.

(I should get points for honesty on that one, for sure...)
