Adam's Testimonial
        I've known Adam for a long time and plan to for a lot longer.  We essentially grew up together;
not from early childhood, but through middle school on up.  His lines (or rather meanderings) of thought are much like my own.

I love him like a brother, and always will.  Our strong (strong doesn't cover it) Christian
beliefs hold us together as brothers in another sense.  It wouldn't have been the same going to this place called "Frozen" without him, as it's not the same to do anything without him.

If anybody ever has any question about anything, ask Adam... he'll have some kind of answer
or theory.

-- Steve
Who I am:
Adam Lyons, husband to Prink, father of Audrey Lyons with another on the way, honorary brother to Steve and Whyc, sixth cousin to Joel, and friend to Jesse and Jerm.  I am an English teacher at Johnson County Alternative School, piano player for Praise Assembly of God in Prestonsburg, and the "architect" of this tribute website.
What I expected:
Like Steve so kindly noted, I am a spiritual guy, and I believe the teachings of the Bible about familiar spirits.  The sentiment of Whyc's "What I want you to know" section is based on the notion
I get that familiar spirits are some of the angels who fell with Lucifer before man inhabited the Earth
(it gets quite technical, doesn't it?).  Understanding this, I figured that there would be some strange sounds, such as the popular "knocking spirits" so common in the Appalachian region.  I was also really hoping for some visual manifestation.  After all, the old saying does warn, "believe half of what you
see, and none of what you hear."
What I experienced:
Just as several of the other travelers explained, nothing really took place while we were there.
It was cold, and some of the dorm rooms had cold spots, just like you hear about on TV.  It was ominous to see box-springs and steel frames left over from the corroded beds in the dormitory.  It
was also interesting to find that some of the rooms' ceilings were totally gone while others were perfectly intact.  I myself did not feel any presence per se, but I had a good time speculating about
it.  I would say that the main thing I experienced was a great curiosity as to what this place was, and why they didn't come back to it and refurnish it as an institution of some kind.
What I thought about it then:
I considered "Frozen" and any other haunted site a harmless place to conduct a fun explor-
ation with flashlights and cameras.  Then I saw a couple of the digital pictures on Steve's display in McDonald's.  I decided that it was a crazy thing that happened with fog and a flash (not thinking
that there's no fog in January).  Then I saw the
dragon.  I decided that I didn't know what to think anymore.  I didn't really want to think about it anymore.  Then I saw/heard the video.  My blood stopped flowing for a fraction of a second as my mind sprinted a million miles a minute trying to
find a sensible explaination for the horrible sound on the tape.
What I think about it now:
I don't believe in ghosts as the owner of the little voice on the video would have liked for me to accept.  I am with Whyc in believing that spirits really are at haunted places, but only because we want them to be.  I am also with Steve in that if you look for it, you WILL find it.
What I want you to know about it:
The smoke in the pictures and the voice on the video are not to be taken lightly.  They
belong to what I believe is an
evil entity out to deceive people so that will never have what is rightfully theirs.  I don't recommend a visit.
