me. i'm one lazy fuck who's got nothing better to do than update websites. no, really. i used to be a soccer player for my high school team, but i quit because i'm lazy. not really, but that's what people believe. i'm 19 (well, i will be in a week), i don't smoke cigarettes but i'm a pothead. i hate drinking (except in select occasions) and stupid people who do drugs without bothering to learn anything about them. like, y'know, how to be safe. fuck the high, save your life. i'm a sophomore in college and i have no idea what the hell i'm going to do with myself once i'm done here. i'm an english major and right now my most doable goal is to get my phd and become a crazy professor. or open a bookstore. i've got a brother. he's okay sometimes. i got him drunk the other day and he was annoying then. he's going to wind up designing computer games for a living. i live in a nice, sheltered, upper-middle class neighborhood, which i hate. we only have 1 tv, and 1 and a half working phones. 2 computers, 2 phone lines. 5 cats and 1 dog. me, my brother and mom. a 2 floor house with underground basement and 2 car garage on the side. the house looks like every other house in the development, which has the same name as 2 neighboring developments. i live with all the rich kids who have parents who send them to private schools so that they can develop the same closed mind as they have. but i plan on living in a 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom apartment by the end of spring semsester 2004. i'm gay, i'm single (and i have the worst luck in the world), and i'm not doing it just to be different. i want to dye my hair blue and maybe get a tattoo, but not because they're trendy. i don't have anything pierced though and i probably never will. my hair is short, but i'd like it to be shorter. i am continually mistaken as being a guy, but when you hear my voice you feel stupid. however, i think it's funny as hell, so i usually try to fool people into thinking that my name is erik. i wanted to play drums but i got a guitar instead. i stopped going to lessons after taking them for almost 3 years. spring time is the best time, and winter is only good if there is quality snow to go with it. i love the mountains and hate the beach. i'm canadian, but living in america. i have a job at a nursery, selling flowers. it's not a job that really matches my image, but i like it anyway. i drive a butch '89 volvo 760 turbo i've lovingly named truffles. i have been called a sex goddess. i am so much more, but this is already too long.
kate. exgirlfriend, first true love, best friend type person. hopefully future roommate. known her since the second half of 11th grade. loves swimming, kids, scrabble, and trivial pursuit. usually kicks my ass when playing scrabble or trivial pursuit. knows everything.
shannon. best friend from 'back in the day'. known her since 7th grade, now a reliable and treasured good friend, the kind you always know will get your back if you need it. clean hippie art major type person. talks to cats.
kara. ex...something? i've never really been sure what to call our relationship; it constantly changes. sometimes we kiss, sometimes i talk about killing her (well, not anymore). known her since the first half of 11th grade. has the second best stomach in delaware. listens to godawful music (usually). has the messiest room i've ever seen.
katie. best friend, partner in crime, former love interest type person. known her since my 9th grade, but only started hanging out with her in 11th. absolutely crazy, though it's usually an act. fiercely loyal. recently has forsaken penis in favour of women. best stomach in delaware. punk, recovering pothead, big drinker, star soccer player, overall enigma with one hell of a magnetic pull.
emilie. best friend/abusive friend type person. keeps me in line whether i like it or not. used to be innocent, then she met me. crazy, but in a different way from katie. former swimmer, art major, anime enthusiast. looks gay, but is totally straight. known her since 9th grade.
sarah b. the wise one. kate's best friend. known her since the summer after 11th grade. beautiful soul, amazing writer, full of wisdom. english/philosophy major. italian (and something else?) minor. one of the only people i feel drawn to cuddle with.
