The beautiful oil paintings of Carrie Jane 'Sade" Moore are now on display at the Frontier Country Historical Museum.

Carrie states that she did not take up the brush until the mid-1970's, when she determined to learn oil painting in order to relieve the stress incurred in her career as a Nursing Home Administrator.  Her painting in oils "worked" successfully as a stress reducer, during that time, she declares, however, active retirement and travel have since limited her opportunity, as well as the need to paint.

Carrie and her husband, Billy, reside in Moore, Oklahoma.  They both graduated from the Crescent High School. She graduated in the Class of 1950 and Billy, in the Class of 1948. She is the daughter of Clarence and Edith Sade, who farmed South of Lovell, OK.

On these webpages, we will share just a few of her beautiful oil paintings.
