| One hundred (100) years from now, no one will likely remember in what home you lived, what kind of car you drove, or even what you did for a living. What they will remember is the legacy you left for generations to come. Life begins as a promise and ends as a memory, which leads many of us to wonder, if our lives were to end today, what would our lives have meant? What difference did I make? What legacy did I leave? Only you, your family relatives, and friends can answer these questions. When I think of the strong sense of dedication and support our parents feel for this country and its way of life, I am reminded of the love for mankind that William Wordsworth speaks of, "That best portion of a man's life.....are the unremembered acts of kindness and love." Philanthropy is a simple, beautiful language that improves the quality of life through fostering the preservation of values. In other words, your gifts are investments for preserving artifacts, values, and memories that will have a profound effect on future generations. We each have likely had the joy of giving and the joy of receiving. Biblically, "It is more blessed to give than to receive." Yes, there are other benefits from your support, including tax deductions, but they are not the driving forces behind your actions. They are an investment today for a return many times multiplied for tomorrow for you and your family heritage. So why not donate today! To those who support our mission and believe in our efforts, we are deeply grateful, and we pledge wise stewardship of your gifts. |
