the Inside Passage

Beginning in Bellingham, WA, the ferry cruises between British Columbia and Vancouver Island, traveling north through pine-covered islands, through a sometimes narrow passageway. Finally after 3 nights and 800 miles it enters Alaskan waters. This particular ship made stops at Ketchikan (the first Alaskan city), Petersburg, and Wrangel before disembarking at Juneau, Alaska's capitol.
