Déjà vu x 3 – No tomorrow
MINNEAPOLIS - So close, yet so far. Besides that, what can I say? I could talk about who's fault it was, why the Twins lost and we should start letting personnel go.
But that would be depressing, why add to any depression we already have going on? It wont make me feel better to point fingers, so I wont do it.
The Twins had a 5-1 lead and Santana had pitched on 3 days rest, I dont know why he came out of the game when he did, maybe he was getting tired, didnt feel right. I dont know, but he came out, Balfour did a great job getting to the 8th.
Rincon has been lights out all year, the 8th has been his. What happened? Maybe the ghost of Yankee Stadium made a little trip to Minneapolis for the weekend. I dont know, but I find it very hard to blame Gardy or Rincon for the 8th inning.
The Twins offense is one thing I think will need to be looked at this off-season, they haven't been there all season. This is the only part of the team that needs work, at least from my view, send an email and give your thoughts!
Looking ahead to next season, I think the Twins can do this yet again next season. So I will make the call right now, they will 4 peat!
Well since the Twins are out, but baseball is not yet done this year. We have the Yankees and Red Sox in the AL left, there is no question who is going to be supported by me in that series, go Sox!
In the NL we have the Astros and Cardinals in position to advance.
