Red Sox take Game 1

BOSTON - 9 runs should be enough to win a World Series game. 4 Errors should be enough to lose a game in the World Series. Neither of these were true Saturday night in Game 1 of the World Series. The Red Sox had 4 errors, two of them by Manny himself and one of them looked to be a painful one.
At times it looked as though the curse was showing its ugly face, how can Manny make two errors in an inning? And the team make 4 of them? Just after Fox and interviewed both managers and they said they liked what they were getting from their pitchers, they ended up pulling them shortly after. Signs of a curse?
12 of the last 16 teams that have won Game 1 of the World series have gone on to win the World Series. That would be the odds are with the Red Sox. But how can that be? The odds are with them? I am sure Vegas has some "curse factor" involved in their odds.
As of right now I can see this series taking the same road as the NLCS did, or the 1991 World Series where all home games are won by the home team. That would put the Red Sox as you know what.
