Jessie Crain does it all to get win

FORT MYERS - Pitcher Jessie Crain has not had his best spring to this point. But today he singled in Michael Restovich, who doubled, to give the Twins a 3-2 in the top of the 8th inning. He than went back out there and pitched a 1-2-3 bottom of the 8th to help the Twins to win the game.

 

Unfortunately having a pitcher who can hit does nothing to get you ahead of another pitcher when you play for an American League team. The former shortstop has not had a great spring and will most likely end up in Rochester when the season starts.

 

A day after the Twins offense knocked out 15 hits and 7 runs they could only get 6 hits and 3 runs on Monday.
