Skid continues From the Seats, March 11, 2005 FORT MYERS - The Twins lost their third strait in spring training on Thursday to the Phillies who were 1-5 coming into the game. Brad Radke started the game on Thursday and gave up an early run, things snowballed from there and the Twins came within one run in the 4th by a Stewart double that made it 4-3 Phillies. Spring training games are indeed meaningless and they are more important to pitchers than anyone else. But if spring training is any indication how the season will go health wise the Twins might have a reason to be concerned. A number of small minor injuries have caused the Twins some problems and might lead to a season like spring training has been. |
