Why so quiet? Injuries start early From the Seats, February 24, 2005 MINNEAPOLIS - Monday was the last think I wrote on here, Monday! It is now Thursday, what’s up? Well there isn't much to talk about. Spring Training is underway yet no real big new news yet. I can either write about nothing, or let there be something to write about. So we have something to write about, a few injuries. They have started already, so early and could cause problems to the Twins. Nick Punto, the favorite to play short has strained his hamstring and is listed day to day. Not a big deal at this time but if he doesn't let it heal it could be a big deal, a minor hamstring problem that doesn't fully heal can turn into a big hamstring problem that will take a while to heal. Grant Balfour has a sore arm, which could be a problem since he has had shoulder problems in the past. Terry Mulohlland has been sick. Mike Restovitch has a broken collar bone, which could be bad news for him as he needs to make the team this year. |
