So hard to say goodbye,
I don't want this to end.
Can't stand that old expression,
"Can't we still be friends?"
Friendship is all I really seek,
Although sometimes I wish for more.
Saying goodbye will make it over,
Saying goodbye will be a chore.
So I will not say goodbye,
I can't bare to watch you leave.
Just the thought causes me sickness,
I think the action would make me heave.
