PIECES

Thousands of miles between us
Yet right in front of me
You challenge the limits of beauty
Kindness in your words I read
Watching you smile for hours
You were all I chose to see
Many distractions for you
But those didn't affect me
I learned about you in pieces
And assembled those pieces in my mind
As a puzzle I had put together
I made the pieces I couldn't find
I've created a replica of a woman
Someone I wanted to be mine
She looks and talks just like you
So sweet and perfect by my design
Its certainly no ones fault
Though myself I like to blame
I may be in love with a perception
But the love still feels the same
This puzzle I've created
I believe it reflects the truth
If in real you are only half of her
I would still be in love with you
