SAUSAGE SALSA DIP
1 small tube of hot sausage (As you would purchase in a roll to make your own breakfast sausage patties) 2 pounds of Velveeta cheese 2 small cans of stewed tomatoes (I like the Mexican-Style stewed tomatoes with spices and jalapeno peppers) Add garlic to taste Fry the sausage until well done-drain off grease. Add stewed tomatoes (undrained) Turn heat on low Cut cheese in slices or small cubes and add to mixture. Keep stirring until cheese is melted. Make sure you keep heat on low so the cheese does not burn or scorch. Once the cheese is melted the dip is ready to eat. Pour the mixture into a bowl. As the mixture cools it will thicken. I like to dip nacho chips, tortilla chips and pretzels. You can also reheat the dip in a microwave or keep in a crock-pot on low. Enjoy Lenore
