Toasted Pumpkin Seeds
Remove the seeds and pulp from the pumpkin Pick the seeds away from the pulp and place them into a colander or strainer. Wash the seeds very well removing any remaining pulp from around the seeds. Pour the seeds out onto paper towels and blot dry. Sprinkle the seeds with salt or seasoning salt. Drop the seeds out of the paper towels on to a cookie sheet and place the cookie sheet into a preheated oven at 350 degrees. Bake the seeds for approximately 20 minutes and then use a spatula and a butter knife to turn them over and bake a little longer, 5-10 minutes or until the seeds are a bit crunchy. The insides of the seeds should be dry to be done. When the seeds are done, place them on a dish and serve.
