| BANANA MILKSHAKE RECIPE | ||||||||||
| 1 small box of instant banana pudding 1/2 gallon of vanilla ice cream 2 ripe bananas, peeled and chopped Allow the ice cream to soften just a bit. Peel and chop the bananas and set them to the side. Add the ice cream to a blender or food processor by chunks or scoops. An electric mixer can be used if necessary. Add the small box of instant banana pudding to the ice cream in the blender or food processor. Pulse a few times until the pudding mix is mixed into the ice cream. Let the mixture rest a few minutes if the ice cream is still too hard and then try again. Do NOT add milk. With the blender, mixer or food processor off...use a wooden or plastic spoon and push down the sides and blend the mixture together a little more. When you feel that the pudding and the ice cream are blended together well...add the chopped bananas and then gently mix the bananas throughout the ice cream mixture. Save out a few banana pieces to place on top of the milkshakes for an eye-pleasing presentation. Pour the milkshake into individual tall glasses; the recipe should make 4-5 glasses. Add a straw and spoon to eack glass. NOTE...top the milkshake with a little dairy whipped topping from an aresol can...it really sets this recipe off! |
