| James is the creator of EarthBound Fanfiction Reviews and its database. Coming across Starmen.Net in 2000, he began writing fanfics in 2001 and took a break during mid-2002. Wanting to give his peers the recognition they deserved, he began reviewing on the Fan Forum in '02 and formally launched EFR in '03, maintaining it for around three years, while beginning a short return to fanfiction in '04 with 101. While proud of all self-made "EarthBound" fanfics, this story, along with Resurrection E and This place I go, remain his favorite (and most well-received) personal works. James looks at "EarthBound" fanfiction (the action-packed and emotional continuations, the political conspiracies involving time travel, the romantic adventures of ACs in different eras, the reality-based dramas grounded in everyday life, the post-apocalyptic struggles, the enigmatic multi-game crossovers, the alternate universe settings, the radical retellings, the moments that make you laugh, the moments that make you cry, the moments that make you get up and cheer) and sees a medium of incredible imagination. And a medium of incredible potential. |
