"You are so lucky," Kim whispered to Rebecca.
Blinking in surprise she asked, "Why?"
"I'd die if Howie ever sang to me."
Rebecca laughed nervously. "He wasn't singing to me. He was singing that to someone else."
"Yeah right darlin," Kim said shaking her head. "His eyes never left you the whole time."
"Whatever. He�he likes someone else."
"Could have fooled me," Kim said watching Howie watch Rebecca from across the room.
"But Alesha! I can't just say, 'Becca, I love you.' We barely know each other. I may never see her again," Howie sighed.
"But Howie!" Alesha imitated him. "You don't HAVE to say love. Just let her know you're interested. And believe me, I KNOW she is." Howie ran a hand over his hair and sighed. "Dude, if you don't stop doing that, you're gonna run out."
Blinking he asked. "Run out of what? Hair?"
Alesha laughed. "No. Air, Tard boy. Air."
Nick smiled. "So, you're a friend of Alesha's?" he asked Terra.
"Kind of. I uh�we met in the lobby of the hotel. I wanted her to sign a picture," Terra said smiling.
"Ahh," Nick nodded. "Did she? Sign it I mean."
"Yeah. She also took us up to ya'll's room to scan them into her computer."
"You�you were in my room?" Nick asked a look of horror crossing his face. Looking at her apologetic expression he grinned. "I'm just teasing. So, I'm assuming she got you guys your passes."
Terra nodded. "She is so cool and sweet."
Nick smiled. "Yes, she is."
Terra looked down and said softly. "I uh�I met Sarah once."
A pained expression crossed Nick's features. "I'm�sorry."
Terra shrugged. "It wasn't a pleasant experience. Keep Alesha, Nick. If you aren't gonna date me," she grinned. "Stay with her."
"So, when did you get in?" Brian asked kissing Leighanne softly.
"Couple of hours before the show. You were surprised?" she asked smiling up at him.
"A little," he grinned. "Did Lesh and Lori know you were coming?" Leighanne nodded. "Of COURSE they did."
Leighanne settled back into Brian's arms. "So what's up with Howie and that Rebecca girl?"
Brian shrugged. "Lesh brought her along and I guess the guy at the hotel was giving them problems. Howie happened to be down there and offered to share his room with her. They act like they've known each other forever though." He looked over at Howie and Alesha. "You'd have to ask Lesh though. He talks to her more than anyone else."
"So, where's AJ?" Lori asked Carrie who was scanning the room.
She shrugged. "Haven't seen him since I got in." She grinned at Lori. "So�hear ya'll got stuck in his room during the storm. Was the door REALLY stuck? Or did AJ have it locked?"
Lori laughed. "When the electricity went out, it shorted the unlocking thingy on the door. Believe me, listening to AJ whine all night about being stuck in a hotel room was NOT my idea of an exciting evening."
"Wasn't Kevin looking yummy up on stage tonite?" Carrie asked watching him walk across the room towards them.
Lori smiled a little, looking at Carrie funny. "Yeah. He was," she said. She smiled warmly up at Kevin.
"Hey baby," he said sliding his arm around her waist and kissing her softly on top of the head. "Carrie. Glad to see you finally made it."
She grinned. "Me too. Sorry I couldn't get her sooner."
"CARRIE!! What are you doing here?" AJ asked as he joined the group.
"J!" she smiled hugging him. "Thought I'd drop in to say hi."
"Cool," he nodded, kissing her on the cheek. His eyes met Lori's, and he could see all of his thoughts reflecting back at him.
"So, who're the new girls?" he asked Kevin.
"Some friends of Alesha's," he shrugged glancing over his shoulder at them.
"That girl," AJ said shaking his head. "Lesh better watch it. That one," he pointed at Terra, "she's out for Nick."
"That's okay. She can always have Howie," Carrie nodded towards the corner that Alesha and Howie were chatting in.
Lori made a face. "Lesh doesn't want Howie. She only wants Nick."
Carrie shrugged. "Why settle for one Boy, when you can have two?" she asked taking a sip of her soda. AJ and Lori looked at her sharply. "I am JUST kidding," she said laughing. Her eyes met Kevin's when no one was looking, and she winked at him.
