| In Science, we are using problem solving skills and strategies to use Legos to build simple machines. We have built tongs, a drill, and most of us have finished a merry-go-round with real moving parts. Next, we are on to a pulley system and possibly a car. We have learned that work is done only if there is a force applied and a distance is moved. Work = force x distance A simple machine makes doing this work easier. |
