Welcome, This is the begining of Tubal~Cain's realm

And Zillah, she also bare
Tubalcain,
an instructer of every artificer in brass and iron

Genesis 4:22

In my interest of most things medieval, I've woven mail armor to make two coifs, and about a third of a hauberk from soft steel plus various sample/trial patterns from aluminium, copper, steel, stainless steel and plastic.
I've had two coal forges, two anvils, two post vices, a small collection of hammers, tongs/pliers, a few hardies, top fuller and a yard outside to play with a bag of kinda green coal.
I've sold the forges, vices, lefterover coal and the yard
but still have the Vulcan and Peter Wright  anvils and other tools packed away til a new yard cometh!
Armour! we shall make plate armour when the knowlege to successfully beat the metal into the will of the master-
armour, and some blades to boot

I'm also easily intriged with polearms and bladed weapons from the 'middle ages' of just about every culture

I have a straight sword, matching dagger,  a 'saxon' battle axe, about a dozen shuriken, some throwing knives, bo and jo staves, practice wood boken and tantos, a practice alloy katana and shoto,
double ball and chain flail (it's a cheap casting but it looks nice)

when I can't buy it, I still enjoy looking and touching.
I also plan on getting a set of samurai armour- lacquer, lace, mail and any other frills that comes on it.
