About 2 years ago Doug decided to give up on the ER cause of a few mishaps and fights with the staff. So he says good-bye to his girl-friend, Carol Hathaway (Julianna Margulies). then ships off to Clevland for his final good-bye. (He only came back once- When Julianna decided to leave the show.)
