INDIAN TRAIL TREES
Return to Main Page
Had it not been for geocaching, I would never have learned about one of history's treasures, the Indian Trail Tree.  These trees are being destroyed because of lack of knowledge about their existance and their importance in Native American history.  I hope that you will leave this site with a new knowledge about Indian Trail Trees that will be used to help preserve the remaining treasures.

The "nose" of the tree points East.
My wife spotted this tree on March 12, 2005 as we were leaving our subdivision in Chesterfield County, VA..  Before becoming involved in geocaching, we would never have known the historical significance of this treasure.  The nose of the tree points West.
