Die Deutsche Spielzeugstra�e folgt alten Handelswegen von N�rnberg �ber Coburg und Sonneberg bis vor Erfurt, die "Hohe Stra�e", bzw. der von N�rnberg �ber Sonneberg, Saalfeld, Rudolstadt nach Leipzig, "S�chsische Geleitstra�e" genannt. Wichtigste Stationen sind neben N�rnberg und Waltershausen, den Endpunkten, die Spielzeugstadt Sonneberg, bekannt als "Weltspielzeugstadt" und die "Bayerische Puppenstadt" Neustadt.

Verbinden wird die Stra�e nicht nur Familien, sondern auch die L�nder Th�ringen und Bayern.
