Foundation

There are three kinds of stage makeup foundation: liquid, cream and cake. I've separated them into these categories.

Liquid
1.Dot some liquid foundation all over your face with your fingertips.
2.Using a makeup sponge, blend the makeup evenly.
3.If you see any redness, conceal it with a little more liquid foundation. Try to avoid the hairline and the eyebrows.

Cream
1.This type of foundation should be in a stick (kind of like lipstick). Roll the stick over your forehead, nose, cheeks, and chin.
2.Use a makeup sponge to blend the foundation. Avoid using too much. Run a finger across your forehead. If it leaves a track, you've used to much. If this occurs blend more.

Cake
1.This is the kind you will most likely use. Dampen a makeup sponge and put a little makeup on it.
2.Wipe the makeup onto your face paying close attention to your forehead, nose cheeks, and chin.
3.Blend using the sponge. Apply more if needed.

You may also want to apply foundation to other parts of your body including neck, arms, legs, hands, and ears. Although this is not always necessary. (I never do this.)
