Elves and Half-Elves
For the most part, the elves and half-elves of Alamsa are identical to those in the average D&D world. However, a few minor changes were made based on my own personal preferences, and to emphasize the magical nature of the elves.
ELVEN RACIAL TRAIT MODIFICATIONS
Remove:

ability to see secret doors. Elves have keen sight, but not that bloody keen.

automatic weapon proficiency in sword and bow. It badly unbalances elves as far
as modularness goes.
Add:
- +2 to all saving throws against magic. This
does stack with the elven bonus to saves against Enchantment spells. Due to their
magical nature, elves are more adept than some at avoided hostile magic.

+2 to the DC of all spells cast by elves. Due to their magical nature, elven spells
succeed more often than those of other races.
HALF-ELVEN
RACIAL TRAIT MODIFICATIONS:
Add:
- 2 extra skill points at first level
(do not multiply by four), and one more skill point every two levels (Level 2,
Level 4, Level 6, etc). Their human heritage grants half-elves a measure of the
human ability to learn quickly.
