My name is Jaclyn Zilke and this is my eighth year teaching in Diamond Lake School District 76.  I taught 2nd Grade for five years at Diamond Lake Elementary School, and will be starting my third year teaching 6th Grade Mathematics at West Oak Middle School.  I graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a Bachelor of Science in Education in May 2002.  I received my Master of Arts in Teacher Leadership at Roosevelt University in Schaumburg, Illinois in December 2004.  Please feel free to view my resume for more information about my educational background.

I live in Arlington Heights, Illinois with my mom and dad.  I have an adorable 4-year-old cat named Pixel.  We also share a 2-year-old dog named Cassie.   

I have one older brother, Jeff, who is the band director at Walter Sundling Junior High School in Palatine, Illinois.
