| September 24th 2003 @ 4 pm Lake Wales, FL. Warner Southeren 2 - Flagler College 5 Gather around my children and I shall tell ya'll the tale of the two halves. Once upon a time in a totally isolated place in the middle of Florida two good men brought their forces together to battle. At the end of the first period, one of the Generals was real happy with his soldiers, the other one was not as happy. The score was 2-0 to the South. The unhappy North General spoke to his devastated men in order to raise their spirits. The soldiers listened carefully to his foreign master and ran onto the battle field for the second period. As they got prepared to resume the battle, they noticed a wise man in the crowd wearing a camouflage jacket for protection against the rain pouring. This stranger proved to be an inspiration for the lads from up north and with hard work and determination they managed to level the score pretty quickly. The northern lads wanted to win very much so they sought advise from their captain. In the absence of one Niall McGuirk, the captain for this battle was a veteran Swedish man. The Swede led the charge and at the end of the day it was 5-2 in favor of the North. A poor first half was followed by a better second half. This has been the Tale of the two halves. Thanks for being with us today. Cheers |
