| Saturday September 5th 2003 - Flagler Field Conditions: Top notch, nice and cool Flagler College 8 - FIT 1 Jorgen Rosten 3 Scott Herlihy Caleb Cooper Pete Mychalcewycz Helgi Frimannsson Zoltan Ferencz The third consecutive W of the season came last night when we demolished NCAA div II side Florida Institute of Technology. This game had so many goals that I don't feel like describing all of them. However there were few highlights of the game I want to talk about. First of all, Baby Face Assassin, got three really nice goals. Absolutely fantastic finishing from the Norwegian on all three occasions. Secondly, Pete celebrated his 21st by scoring a goal and almost getting into a fight. Go Go shorty, its your birthday they screamed at him. And people think the third L.O.T.R. movie comes out in December, well we got a little preview last night. The Return of the King, featuring Zola opened at Flagler Field and it was well received. He showed flashes of his magical flair and skills, and then wrapped things up by scoring the third goal of the game. It's good to have ya back son. Jorgen Rosten was selected as the Man of the Match by this website's soccer experts. Excellent performance. Play of the day goes to Niall's brother and his mate who got all rowdy in the stands and had to be removed by security. But apparently they were just acting the bollox which is a common practice during soccer games in Ireland. |
