Flagler Field, 7.30pm kickoff

Flagler 3 - Webber 0
Nothing really special about this win, just another Webber annihilation. No I'm just kidding we had some nice performances in this game. Several hundred goal scoring opportunities were created, three ended in the back of the net. After both Steve and Zoltan had terrified their defense for about 20 minutes, without getting a goal though, up stepped Caleb Cooper launching a curling left-footed shot which beat the keeper. Great vision from Denis set Cooper up for an open short which rarely goes wrong for CJC. With about 10 minutes left in the first half, Coach Lynch introduced Andreas Jaramillo to the game. The tricky Colombian went on a nice little run and received ball inside the box, took a touch or two and then hammered the ball near post for his first intercollegiate goal. Denny again being the supplier from the right fullback position. 2-0 at the half. They had some shots on goal but it is evident that Mr. Peter Young is back. He denied every effort made by the Webber team.
With a comfortable lead we continued to create but usually failed to finish. For some reason the little linesman, Dave, raised his flag every time we got close to the goal. But we managed to sneak one in before the whistle. Andreas placed the ball perfectly on Nyarady's head from a corner kick and we all know what Coach has told Steve to do. Bang the ball home Nyarady. And there was the third goal for ya, powerful header lashed past the keeper and few defenders.

Man of the Match:
Sharing the honor this time are Peter Young and Andreas. Some fine saves from Pete and strong game overall helped him getting another shutout. He was happy about that. Andreas had an absolute stormer all over the park, defensively and attackingwise. Nice to see him yell at people and demanding the ball. That's what we want son. To make things even sweeter, the goal was top notch and then the assist couldn't have been better.

Play of the day:
When King Zola was in the process of limping off with a strained groin, he got yelled at by the referee. "Hustle son, don't be wasting my time." Zola quite didn't like it and Coach really didn't like it. Come on ref, he's injured! Seriously. Hey and nice to see Zola bond with his favorite official after the game. I thought he didn't like us?
