Mike Allard

Referred to by coach as the closest player to get a starting position. Was second the pecking order behind first choice keeper Pete Young. Mike´s effort in practice and general attitude is second to none. Impressive performances kept P. Young on his very toes as Mike stayed right behind him and was always likely to get the nod from Lynch. Mike played high-school and club soccer with the Mexicans down in Ft. Lauderdale and coming here and be placed on the bench doesn´t satisfy his ambition so he´ll give it all he´s got to win the starting place, but the competition he faces isn´t exactly an easy one, just the Player´s Player of the Year and couple of other brave keepers. All three freshman keepers have enjoyed supervision from junior keeper Rob Baxter.

Strong Points: Highly ambitious and determined. Very athletic and quick, and reads the game like the best. Has a top-notch attitude.

Most likely to be watched by: The Lewis House RA´s... and his girlfriend from home, awww.
