Number plates

Frilandic number plates are white with black letters and consist of three combinations of runes and numbers. The first combination consists of three characters and the next two both consist of two characters, in this order: XXX-XX-XX

Special number plates
Some organisations are allowed to use a special number plate, in which the first combination of the number plate has a specific abbreviation. Members of the royal house for example, have KUN, government vehicles have ÞING (the NG is one character in the runic script), military vehicles have HAR and foreign diplomats have UTG.

Nationality stickers
The country code of Friland is FL, which may be attached to the back of the car in black letters on a white sticker. This is not obligatory by the way. An alternative version has dark blue letters and a dark blue rim.
