| Profile | Brian (Kmart) Atkinson is the late bloomer of the team. Not because his skills are coming around, but because he’s always 10 minutes late for the games! He seems to thrive on the pressure of running in from the locker room while pulling his jersey over his head and lacing up his skates AFTER his first two shifts on the ice! Despite the late arrivals, Brian has left his mark on the ice! He has been a towering wall on defense and has been Joey’s friend on tough nights. Brian is not afraid to use his slapshot from any distance and scraps well in the corners and keeps the goal mouth free of opposing skaters. Brian’s only real weakenss is his propensity for business travel which took him out of action more than any opposing teams forechecking! C’mon Brian – get those priorities straight for next season! He lost his enforcer / jailbird title this year to Mike Macaskill, not because he has improved, but because of his lack of committment to the team. |
