Vail Ski Resort in Summer
For those who visit Denver between April 15th and October 15th the skiing for the most part is closed.  However, the ski resorts are a great place to visit in the summer.  For our summer visit slideshow we have chosen Vail.  The slideshow is a 2 mile walk through Vail.  In the summer all the major resorts have mountain scenery, entertainment, great restaurants and flowers everywhere.  Vail is located 75 miles West of Denver.
The Clock Tower at the City Center of Vail.
A view overlooking the City Center of Vail to see a couple ski runs in the summer.
There is a path that follows the Gore Creek that starts at the covered bridge.  There is also a cement biking path that goes between Keystone and Vail a distance of 25 miles.  This biking path is really a bikers dream.
Looking East in the center of the shopping district.
The Betty Ford Alpine Garden.  Has all the wildflowers found in the Vail area.  Located a mile East of City Center.
The Gerald Ford Amphitheater.  Has concerts throughout the summer.
A game of LaCrosse is a common sight in Vail.  LaCrosse is a American Indian game that is very popular in Vail.
There are hundreds of sculptures located throughout Vail.
