more of our
projects...
The children glued the pieces onto their pumpkin shapes.  This one was done by a 21 month old!
During LEAF WEEK, we raked & jumped in the leaves, we learned the colors brown, yellow, green and orange.
Our hand is the tree stump and our thumb prints are the leaves on the tree & on the ground.
A little one colored this leaf all by herself!!  She even pasted it to the paper!
After collecting lots of leaves we crumpled them up onto a page full of glue!!
These upside down handprints look just like ghosts when we put faces on them!
The month of October we focused on Halloween but also learned about triangles.  We learned the colors black, green & white.
These handprint flowers were done in the colors of the child's room.  This can be framed and saved for years to come.  Those little hands won't be little for very long!
Its hard to see here, but these stockings are made of foam and the children glued cotton balls to the top.   Because I have all little ones, I put their names in glitter for them!
There are 3 projects on this wall.  The first is the handprint wreath with little red thumbprint berries on it.  Next is the "jingle bell" candy cane,  we put a few jingle bells in red paint and put them in a box with the cardboard shaped candy cane.   A few shakes and you have a decorated candy cane!!  Last was our triangle shape Christmas tree.  The kids enjoyed glueing anything they could find to it!!!  :)
These are hand print angels.  2 blue handprints make wings, and a yellow upside down handprint makes the body.  The kids love anything that requires dipping thier hands in paint!
