(Scene: Outside Monica and Chandler’s apartment and Joey’s apartment in the hallway).
Chandler: Oh My God. What do you think it is?
Monica: I don’t know.
(Monica and Chandler run down the stairs)
Rachel: Oh my god! I just got a good idea.
Joey: What?
Rachel: Well since Phoebe locked everyone out why don’t we just go to her apartment.
Phoebe: Bad news. The reason I came over here was because I locked myself out.
Ross: We are the dumbest people alive.
Joey: How long did it take you to figure that out?
(A long silence)
Ross: Was I supposed to answer that?
Opening Credits
(Scene: Outside Central Perk)
Rachel: Well at least we can go here.
(Ross goes to open the door. It won’t open.)
Joey: Are you that weak?
(A long silence)
Ross: Was I supposed to…
Rachel: Don’t even say it!
Phoebe: Oh look there’s a sign on the door. (reading the sing), oh it says Closed. Gunther is on vacation.
Joey: What a time for him to go on a vacation.
(Scene: Dr. Clapear’s office. Chandler and Monica run to the secretary’s desk)
Monica: Um yeah. I’m Monica Geller Bing. Dr. Clapear called us for an emergency appointment.
Secretary: Oh yeah. My name is Jennifer. You can go take your seats.
(They go and sit down)
Chandler: Well this place seems normal.
(A door behind them opens. Monica and Chandler turn around. There’s Janice standing there.)
Janice: Oh my god! It’s the Bing’s.
Chandler: Oh my god! It’s the Janice.
Monica: So why are you here Janice?
Janice: Well em and my fiancée Richard are having a baby.
Monica: What’s Richard’s last name?
(The same door opens again. And there stands Richard Burke. Monica’s ex-Boyfriend)
Chandler: Is that the door of past lovers?
(Scene: Outside in New York. Joey, Phoebe, Rachel, and Ross are walking.)
Rachel: God I’m starving.
Phoebe: I want my cigarettes.
(Joey looks surprised)
Ross: Oh my god! That was your cigarette butt that landed on my head. And then I had to go to some nasty guy who had a hose.
Rachel: Yeah. That guy was hitting on me.
Joey: But there’s still the matter of Phoebe smoking.
Rachel: Oh yeah. Why did you smoke?
Phoebe: You know how Joey was auditioning for the part of the butler. Well he had cigarettes on the table and I smoked one. And now I’m hooked.
Joey: You took the cigarettes!
Ross: OK I wanna go home.
Rachel: Could you be a bigger baby.
(A long silence)
Ross: Was I supposed to…
Joey: OK when we say could you be any more stupider or any more dumber, your not supposed to answer it ok?
Ross: Ok.
(Scene: The waiting room of Dr. Clapear’s office. The door opens and Monica and Chandler come out.)
Chandler: Wow I can’t believe that.
Monica: Me either.
(Janice and Richard walk up.)
Richard: Lets have dinner next week.
Janice: That would be s much fun. Here’s our number.
Monica: Ok bye.
(Chandler and Monica walk away)
Chandler: Give me the number.
Monica: Why? (hands him the number.)
(Chandler takes it and rips it in half and throws it away)
(Scene: Outside Monica and Chandler’s apartment and Joey’s apartment in the hallway. Rachel and Phoebe are talking and Joey is teaching Ross to punch.)
Joey: Ok watch. You take your fist and you punch me.
Ross: No!
Joey: Fine I’m gonna punch you.
(Joey comes running at Ross.)
Rachel: Get out of the way!
(Ross moves and Joey punches the door open)
Phoebe: Oh my god! You opened the door.
(Chandler and Monica walk in.)
Chandler: How did you get in?
Joey: I punched the door open. (The he goes running into his door open that one)
Phoebe: So what happened at the doctors?
Chandler: Well guess what. Richard, Monica’s ex-boyfriend and Janice may ex-girlfriend are getting married.
Ross: Ew! Ew! Ew!
Monica: Well…. Me and Chandler are gonna have a baby!
Everyone: Oh my god!
