Tow the reunion

Part 1

This fanfic takes place in 2006. And the story changes after the Ross’ wedding

David Schwimmer are sitting in Central perk (they look a bit older)

Lisa: Phoebe got the babies and is a good aunt to them. She dated some guys and is now together with a guy, Brian Staves. She sings at Central perk and has some fans there.

Matt LB: Joey is still acting, now he has a great place in a sitcom (it’s called:"To remember") and lives in his own apartment nearby. He is dating lots of girls but has a relationship to a famous actress (Michelle) who plays in the same sitcom. Michelle doesn’t mind if Joey flirts with other girls but he is not able to cheat.

And her mother stopped begging her

Matt P.: Chandler is still doing the same job he always did and he still hates it. He made enough money to finally buy a house in Brooklyn where he has been living with Monica and Ethan since their wedding. He’s happy with his life even if he never thought he would be a great dad he really truly loves his son

Rachel and Ross were falling in love with each other again in 2001-2002 but Ross told her 3 days before the wedding of Mon and Chandler that he was not ready to get into a serious relationship with her.

David: Ross has been working at the university since 2000 and likes it there. He dated some girls, (Rachel too), but is not interested in a serious relationship at the moment because he is fed up with being hurt. At least he had a date with a woman (Laura) that was working at the university too. Ben ,his son , is now 11 years old and lives with Carol and Susan in Brooklyn .

Some times Ch , Mo ,Ro, Ph, and Jo meet at central perk

Opening credits : we see some shots of the gang , like the wedding , Ethan’s birth, the guys at work , the house of Monica and Chandler and a scene with Ross and Rachel kissing.

The phone rings : Mon(ica) is (o)n (t)he (p)hone

Ra(chel):(bored) Ralph Lauren’s Boston. Rachel Green is speaking . How may I help you?

Mon: (otp) Hi Rach , it’s Monica

Ra: (exited) Monica Gellar ? How are you?

Mon: (otp) I am great , how about you?

Ra: hmmm . Not to good to tell you the truth. I have a lot to do at work in the moment

Mon: (otp)Oh sorry.

Ra : No its okay. I still like my work here. But lets talk about something else . How are the guys? How is Ethan? I haven’t seen him for so long.

Mon: (otp) I haven’t seen the guys in the last month. Only Phoebe once : she was singing in central Perk. I think she is okay . Mom and Dad told me that Ross is still unhappy but he is doing fine I think. Ethan is okay too. Y´know it turned out that Chandler is a great father.

Ra: Really? I mean that’s great ..but I never thought of Chandler as a father

Mon. (otp)Me neither.

Ra: Mon, you thought of every guy ,you dated ,as a father. You just dated guys of which you thought he would be a great father.

Mon: (otp) Noooo.. okay , Maybe. But not Chandler. I never thought of chandler like this. He’s different.

Ra: Yes he is. I am missing you guys really much and I would really like to talk a bit longer but I have to work now, Monica . Can we talk later?

Mon : (otp)Yes we can but I just called to ask you something important…

Ra: Sure. What’s up?

Mon: (otp)We , Chandler and I , thought of a kind of reunion of the gang next weekend in Central Perk. What do you think?

Ra: That’s great……

Mon: (otp)(interrupting) So you’re coming?

Ra: ..but I don’t think I can come. I really have to work hard in the moment.

Mon: (otp)but you can get a weekend off , cant you?

Ra: I don’t know I have to ask . I can call you tomorrow , right?

Mon: (otp)yes that’s all right. Rachel I really hope you can make it.

Ra: hmm. Me ,too. But Mon there is another problem.

Mon: (otp)What is it?

Oh my god!

Mon: (otp)Rach are you okay?

Ra: YESS , but I really have to go know.

Mon: (otp)Okay. So call me tomorrow.

Ra: Of coarse ,bye ,and give Ethan a kiss.

Mon: (otp) Yes, bye

house . it’s the house we saw in the opening credits. Chandler enters from another room . )

Chan(dler): and , honey what did she say?

Mon: She said she’s not sure she has a lot of work to do in the moment. But if you ask me I’d say she’s coming

Chan: That’s great I can’t wait to tell them.

Mon: Me neither. What is Ethan doing ? (she walks into one room )

(in the room we see a cute little boy. He has brown hair and brown eyes . he has to be around 3 and is wearing jeans a tee and a cappy )

Scene two: Rachel is walking to her apartment. It’s a high building .she enters her apartment looking kind of sad. She turns on the lights and looks around like she is looking for some one. A cute cat comes out of a room and Rachel takes and feeds it then she sits down on a coach in the living room . she gets a picture from her desk and looks at it: it’s the gang sitting around smiling at the camera . she looks at herself and Ross. They are really close and are cuddling. Rachel gets the phone and dials a number.

Chan: hello these are the Bings

Ra: Hi this is Rachel

Chan: Oh Rachel , hi .I thought you wanted to call Mon tomorrow?

Ra: Not happy to hear me?

Ra: that’s the reason of me calling too .

Chan: Why ? You are coming, right?

Ra: Yes, I am coming . But there’s a problem I don’t know where to sleep.

Chan: Rach we have a guest room, you can sleep here , if you want to .I am sure Monica will love to prepare it.

The reunion is at the weekend ,isn’t it ? Then I am coming Thursday is that okay?

Chan: Yeahh , of coarse.

Ra: Thank you Chandler

Chan: You are welcome. So .it’s a :"see you next Thursday", right?

Ra: Yes ,see you

Chan: Bye

. They are chatting. The doorbell rings .But Joey keeps flirting with the girl.

Chan: (from outside) Joey , this is Chandler.

(Joey hears that stops speaking to her and goes to open the door. Chandler is standing in front of it with Ethan. Joey pushes the girl out and gives her his phone number

Joey (to the girl) Call me ,Jenny

the girl : (corrects him) Jamie!

Joey (leans in Chandler and Ethan. To the girl ) My name is Joey , not Jamie(closes the door)(to Chandler) How are you, man ?

(they hug)

Chan: I am fine , thank you.

Joey: (to Ethan) how are you my little strong man?

Chan : like I said I am fine

(Joey gets Ethan on his arms. Btw Ethan is very friendly and loves the guys)

Joey: What’s up ,man ? why are you here?

Chan : I just wanted to invite you to a kind of party.

Joey: Cool!

Chan: Well actually it’s a reunion of the gang. Rachel is coming over. Phoebe agreed and Monica is asking Ross.

Joey: wow ,that sounds really great. We haven’t seen each other for two month and three days now. And I think it’s been forever since I last saw Rachel.

Chan: so ,I can count on you ?

Joey : (hugs him again) You can count on me ,man.

Scene 4: it’s Thursday and the gang except for Rachel is at the house. They are waiting for Rachel so they can go to Central Perk. They are talking about the old times. Ethan is playing with Joey and Ross and Phoebe is playing guitar .

We’ll be having lots of fun

Ross: I can’t wait to see her. I missed her so much in all the time.

Mon: I know and Yeahh, me too.

Joey : How long will she stay?

Mon: I don’t know. She didn’t say anything. But I think she will take some time off to stay here.

Ross: I hope so . We could do so much here. We can do all the things we used to do when she lived here.

Chan: (joking)like sitting around in Central Perk all day?

Joey(serious): yes , this is gonna be so much fun

(the doorbell rings ,Monica stands up to get it but Ross already ran to the door)

Phoebe: (looking at Monica who is still up) seems like somebody here is in love with Rachel

JoeyL (to Phoebe) I don’t think so , I mean ,I always hoped so but now she’s married to Chandler

(they all look at him)

Joey: What? (They still look at him) Oh I get it . The person you’ve been talking about I is not Monica (they look relieved) But who is it?( He looks puzzled)

(Ross comes back looking sad)

Chandler: And what did you do

Ross:(kind of mad) I gave her a guide. And told her to learn how to read it.

ever come out of Ross mouth. Suddenly it looks like Joey realises something)

Joey: (Points at Ross) The person she was talking about is you!

Ross: (, confused) What are you talking about?

(Joey was going to answer it but the doorbell rings again and Ross runs away to get it .We go with Ross to the door and see Rachel through a window. She’s standing in front of the door smiling nervously. He opens it and they hug)

Rach: oh god , I missed you.

Ross: Missed you more.

(after a while they break and find the gang starring at them sweetly. They are all really touched then Rachel goes over to hug the others to. They hug and kiss and say" hi" Rachel hugs Ethan and he smiles even he can’t remember her . then they go into the living room and they help Rachel carrying her stuff in.)

Chan: So, we are complete shall we go now?

Rach: Where are we going?

Mon: We thought , we could go to "Central perk" for some hours with Ethan. Then at 8 we bring him to my parents and you , Rachel, can unpack and dress and then we go into restaurant.

Rach:(not wanting to):hmmm

Chan : Monica and I are paying

Rach: I like the plan!

Scene 4: they are sitting around in Central Perk which hasn’t changed in these years. Even Gunther is still there. They are sitting like this: Ross ,Rachel with Ethan and Phoebe on the coach Monica and Chandler share one seat and Joey sits on a chair. Mon Chan Pheebs are talking

(Rachel plays with Ethan while Ross is starring at her .)

Rachel (looking up , noticing that Ross is looking at her and Ethan) He’s so sweet.

(the other noticed that and stare at him he decides to ignore them)

- Monica and chandler try to stop Ethan from crying and the others freak out by the noise he makes

• We see ross and Rachel talking and flirting with each other the gang just watches them weirdly
• Joey tries to get a number of a girl in the coffee shop but she says :no and Rachel and Monica hand Phoebe and Chandler money
• ……

Scene 5: they are in Mon’s and Chan’s .Ethan is not there anymore- Rachel is in the guest room dressing and the others are waiting for her to come out

Chan :My god what the hell is taking her so long

Ross: That again shows us that some things never change

Mon: oh come on, it’s her first day here she hasn’t unpacked yet and she wants to look good.

Phe: Shall I tell you something? I feel a very pink aura around here.

Joey: What does that mean?

(Monica and Chandler smile at each other and hug) oh come on ,not you two, you are married .It’s somebody else!

(in this moment Rachel enters wearing a beautiful dress )

Ross. You look beautiful , Rachel.

Ra: thank you.

(they get their coats and walk off)

Later that evening : they are sitting around a big table . they are waiting for the food to come and are talking. Chandler and Monica a whispering with each other . then chandler begins to talk very loud

Chan : Guys Monica and I have to tell you something!(they are all quiet by now and look at Monica and Chandler ) to tell you the truth we didn’t just invite you for a reunion .The real reason was that we have to tell you something…… important Monica …. and .. I , aäh… we,

Mon (standing up): I am pregnant again.

Ra/Ph: Oh my god

Ra/Ph/Joey /Ross: Congratulations, etc.

Ra: I can’t believe it guys. That’s so great you know?

Mon: Yes, I know!

Joey: in which month are you, Mon?

Chan : it’s the third

Ra: So do you know if it’s a girl or a boy yet?

Mon: no, but we will find out tomorrow in the afternoon.

Ro: wow that are great news.

Chan: Yes but there’s something else we wanted to talk about.

Mon: yes with you , Rachel ?

Ra: with me? Okay what’s up?

Mon: Ähm. We already know the answer but we just have to ask you this: Can’t you move back to us. Is this possible?

Chan: Yes please?

But I think I can say that I will think about it hard.

Mon: Okay that’s enough for us

They are all having breakfast in the kitchen. Monica is sitting in the chair , touching her belly.

Mon: god , I am so exited about her.

Chan: Her?

Mon: yes I really think it’s a girl , now. That would be so great, right honey?

Chan: yes , that would be great.

Mon: you know what I would really like for my children?

Chan: a heterosexual grandfather?

(she smiles at Rachel)

I think I am going for a walk now(leaves) Bye

Mon: (to chandler ) do you think she was mad ?

Ro: no I don’t think so , I think she just really wanted to go for a walk.

Phe: I think it’s really cool that she is back again.

Ro : yes me too, you know sometimes I think that she may have left because of what I said.

(Ross and Rachel are kissing on the sofa in ross’ apartment)

Ro (stops) That feels so good (kisses her again)

Ra: (stops) I know (kisses him again)

Ro: (stops) Rach, I have to talk to you about the thing we are having in the moment

Ra: yes?

So much in the past. And I think that you take a part there to.(Rachel looks guilty and sad) don’t be sad

Ra: no I’m not, I think it’s for the best(looks into his eyes and nearly starts to cry , then she stands up and walks to the door, there she turns around to face him and looks in his eyes again) goodbye , ross(leaves)

(to 2006 , same scene)

Joey: yes I agree there

Chan: and , Ross ?you want to say something else?

Ross: what do you mean ?

Chan: you know..

Ross: Noo ?

Mon( to Phoebe) I think this is going to be men stuff let’s leave. We can go to central park with Ethan (they leave )

Chan: sorry man , I just thought that you wanted to say that you are in love with her

Ross(loud): I AM NOT IN LOVE WITH HER!

Ra: hey why are you so loud? ’s Anything wrong?

Ro: no nothing, but you , Rach, are looking a bit ill.

Ra: Really? I don’t feel so good either. I think I ‘m just going to bed now

Ro (looks sweetly at her) if you need any help just call me

Ra: (leaving) Ok thanks.

Ro (still looking sweetly) No problem(faces the guys , who stare at him , with the same look on his face)

Joey: Nothing , heh?

Ro :( looks sad and collapses on a chair) okay I have a crush on her again.

(scene 7 ) fade to Monica+ Ethan , chandler , Joey and Phoebe talking in the garden of Mon and chandlers house

Mon: He really said that?

right ,Joey?

Jo: yes exactly, and by the way chandler if I had my eyes closed I really would have thought it was ross speaking

Phe : yes me too . you spoke very much like him , over pronouncing every word

(Chan and Mon look irritated)

Jo: (closes his eyes)Hey Chan try out Elvis Presley

Chan: (exited, in a Elvis way) Tootie fruttie , babe

(jo and Phe applaud Chan looks proud)

Mon: hellooo? could we get back to the point here please?

(jo and Phe applaud again, Mon rolls her eyes)

(scene 8 . same time in the house . Rachel is in her room and ross in the living room reading the newspaper. Fade to Rachel , she ‘s on the phone)

…bye (hangs up the phone and goes upstairs to talk to mon)

Ra: Monica!(sees ross) oh hello Ross do you know where Monica is?

Ro : chandler told me they were going to buy some things for a party of someone or something like that. So whatsup?

Ra : I wanted to talk to her , you know about the "moving back"- thing

Ro: (all exited) you’re moving back?

Ra: I am not sure but there might be a chance of me moving back

You know all really missed you here

Ra(hugs him tighter ) I really missed you ,too

(ro smiles)

next scene : the garden .Phe , Chan, Mon , Jo +Ethan are there .

Phe: you know what? We should help them get together

Joey . yeah

Mon. I don’t know Pheebs.

Phe . why not?

Mon : 1^st :It’s their private Life and we shouldn’t…

Phe . Yeah , ike that ever stopped you.

Mon. well okay…but we don’t know if she feels the same way maybe she has a boyfriend in Boston

Chan: well I’ve noticed that she talks a lot about a guy from her work in the moment… What’s his name.

Joey. Kevin!!

Phe .I thought he was gay or something.

Chan : I don’t know

Phe: well … he’s gay , you’re next point ,mon?

Mon:(kinda lost , thinking, gets it) SHE’S NOT LIVING HERE

Phe .we’ll see(walks into the house , the others follow her)

Inside the house. Ross and Rach just stopped hugging and the gang+ Ethan enters

Rach. Oh , Mon ,there you are : I‘ve got news

Phe : ( very serious)no ,Rachel Karen Green we’ve got news for you!:

Ro and Ra look confused ,Phe looks really serious and the rest smiles nervously

Phe. You will move back , cause you are a lot happier here then there, understand me.

Ra: well , I want to move back

(the gang hugs Rachel then thy break it and turn away)

Phe : See that just was my inner power!

Ro. : a Unagi kinda thing , huh?

(By "Unagi " they all roll their eyes and walk off)

You heard me Ethan ( speaks slow so Ethan could repeat it) "U-NA-GI"

Ross and Joey help put in the bags of Rachel into the car , Chandler is playing with Ethan and the girls are talking

Ra : you know I am very exited about the whole moving back thing

Phe: do you already know where you’ll live ?

Ra: well ross has this friend , that is moving out of this really nice apartment.

Phe: How far?

Chan: You think I’m pretty?

Mon: Ha ha very funny

Chan : Hey you are my wife and you don’t think I am?

Chan: Bye rach

Mon .. see you later

(rachel says bye to every one and drives away)
